Written and directed by Bob Charteris, the play follows the unexpected events that occur after Cynthia Owens’ death – on the day of her funeral, a detective calls in relation to a hit-and-run accident that involved her car.
“There is a simple explanation but Mr Owens appears to have something to hide,” said Arthurs, who plays Detective Sergeant William Ross, of the Bullsbrook CID.
“He’s a policeman with a duty to the community – or something unexpected,” he said.
“The main challenge is holding back the plot twist from my voice, although something is revealed at the end of my first scene.”
Passionate about all aspects of film and stage acting - appearing in 25 local film productions since mid 2013 - Arthurs first performed as a 10-year-old when he wrote,
directed and starred in a school play.
