Looking forward to a ripper year
THE Manning Rippers Amateur Football Club is preparing for a big year.
Buoyed by a resounding win in the last game of 2014 and the signing of former Trinity Aquinas head coach Clayton Gardiner and his team, the Rippers senior outfit are excited by the year ahead.
The juniors hope to continue their success after taking out the Year 8 grand final and their season will kick off with much excitement with AFL club Carlton making an appearance at James Miller Oval on April 11.
The club will benefit from Gardiner’s WAFL and AFL experience as well as his 300+ games coaching experience.
His three-year signing gives the Rippers an opportunity for further success to coincide with the development of a new clubhouse and redeveloped oval.
