Curtin uni masterplan wins a green star
CURTIN University has been awarded Australia’s first 5 Star Green Star – Communities rating by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA).
Curtin received the rating for its master plan, which will transform its Bentley Campus into a city of innovation.
Green Star – Communities is an independent, transparent, national scheme designed to assess and certify the sustainability of large-scale master planned development projects.
As part of the master plan, 114 hectares of the University’s Bentley Campus will be transformed through urban regeneration over 20 years.
Stage 1 of the master plan is underway.
