Business mentor honoured
CAROL Hanlon has been acknowledged for her work in empowering women in business, with the Australian Centre for Leadership for Women awarding her the Empowering Women in a Community or Organisation in Australia award as part of its Sustaining Women’s Empowerment in Communities and Organisations’ (SWECO) Awards.

and the founder, manager and mentor of the Textile, Clothing, Footwear Resource Centre of WA, Ms Hanlon has provided low-cost and free training and mentoring to develop the business skills and potential of women in new or existing small businesses in Australia.
Ms Hanlon said she was honoured to be selected from among a distinguished group of amazing women.
“My ongoing goal is to further expand this valuable project across Australia and globally through attracting ongoing sponsorships for scholarships for women who are eager to receive business mentoring and skill development,” she said.
