WITH three schools in Perth, Aus­tralian Is­lamic Col­lege (AIC) Perth is WA’s largest and long­est run­ning Is­lamic school.

Cater­ing for stu­dents from kinder­garten to Year 12, the col­lege fo­cuses on the aca­demic achieve­ment of its stu­dents on a God-con­scious ba­sis.

It pro­vides both seg­re­gated and co-ed­u­ca­tion fa­cil­i­ties im­ple­ment­ing the na­tional cur­ricu­lum in ad­di­tion to Is­lamic stud­ies, Ara­bic and the in­te­gra­tion of Is­lamic morals and val­ues in all facets of col­lege life.

The qual­i­fied teach­ers utilise the best and lat­est ped­a­gogy in their class­rooms, share re­sources and pro­mote the best teach­ing meth­ods across the three schools.

Year 12 stu­dents at the Kew­dale cam­pus achieved ex­cel­lent 2014 WACE re­sults, with three of­fered di­rect en­try into medicine, six stu­dents through a bach­e­lor de­gree at UWA and two stu­dents were of­fered a Curtin Ex­cel­lence Schol­ar­ship in en­gi­neer­ing.

The AIC was 54th in the league’s ta­ble among 130 schools in WA and the Thorn­lie school was the only Is­lamic school in WA named in the top 100 high­est per­form­ing high schools based on Years 7 and 9 NAPLAN re­sults in 2014. En­rol­ments are now open for 2015. Call 9362 2100 or email
