Rory Binnie got on the score sheet for Curtin but his early goal was cancelled out by a Dave Ashworth header in the second half.

Albert Bucchino and Eddie Tikoft led the way for the home side, while Ashworth was outstanding for the visitors.

After this, Quinns began to find their feet and it was Nathan Smith who had a chance for the visitors but he headed wide 23 minutes in.

Curtin came out of the halftime break looking to build on its 1-0 lead and it took only three minutes for them to have the ball in the back of the net, only for the goal to be disallowed.

Curtin began to dominate, with Bucchino controlling things from the back line and Quinns breaking up play with its physical style.
