DRIVERS NEED TO SMARTEN UP

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Street Watch -

It is often rumoured WA drivers are the worst in the land. From what police see, at times it’s pretty hard to argue against it. Despite the many warnings and campaigns on driving with alcohol in your system, child restraints, speeding, mobile phone use, speeding (the list goes on), we are seeing daily a general non-compliance from many motorists taking the risk of not getting caught. We cannot urge enough for drivers to put the mobile phone down when driving. We are at plague proportions in issuing expensive fines for traffic breaches where the money could be better spent elsewhere. Please consider yourselves, your passengers and other road users. Follow us on Twitter @KensingtonPol. close the wound. Police would like anyone who was in the area or saw the incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
