A man re­ceived sig­nif­i­cant in­juries af­ter a knife attack in Burswood on March 27. Perth de­tec­tives need the public’s help with their in­ves­ti­ga­tion into this attack. On a Fri­day night, be­tween 11pm and 1am, a 44-year-old East Perth man was with friends on Burswood Road in Burswood, when he de­cided to walk along Egham Road. An un­known man ap­proached the vic­tim and at­tacked him with a knife, leav­ing a wide lac­er­a­tion on his neck. The vic­tim man­aged to run away to­wards Burswood Road. There were sev­eral cars in the area at the time, but none stopped. The vic­tim flagged down a taxi which took him to Royal Perth Hos­pi­tal. The man’s in­juries re­quired surgery and 36 sta­ples to
