Food van’s menu a hit

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Business -

LAST year, Sandra Bahbah left her job at a PR agency in Singapore and returned to Perth to follow her passion for food.

Meast food van is a mobile food business, attending events across Perth, including Curtin University’s Park’d Food Truck program and recently participating in the Food Truck Rumble and International Student’s Festival.

Ms Bahbah said despite only launching the business three months ago, she felt like she had been operating for years and loved it.

“Coming from a big Arabic family, food has been at the centre of all of our gatherings,” she said. “I have always loved cooking – feeding people is my way of showing love.

“It was last year I decided the best way to do that was to follow my passion for food and feeding people and start up a mobile food business.”

Food truck locations are updated on the Meast Facebook page.
