New board is the chalk of the town

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Opinion -

IT is back to the chalkboard for Victoria Park, with the Town installing a giant community chalkboard as a way to let residents and visitors tell the world what makes them smile.

The Town is inviting people to be creative and to interact with public spaces.

The chalk wall aims to encourage inclusive creativity. People are encouraged to snap a selfie of their message on the board using the Town’s free Wi-Fi.

Town of Victoria Park Mayor Trevor Vaughan said the chalkboard provided people with an opporuntity to share positivity and

“All of the activities and projects we have been implementing to activate Albany Highway are creating a vibrant, interesting place where people feel connected to their public spaces and spend more time in them, which fits perfectly with the Town’s vision,” he said.
