IF you are sick of the kids acting up after school, now there is a way to allow them to let off some steam under the tutelage of a professional drama teacher.

South Perth resident and drama teacher Kylie Bywaters is running after-school drama classes at the EJ Scout Hall every Thursday as part of the South West Acting Academy’s Acting Up program.

Ms Bywaters has been teaching drama for many years in both Australia and overseas, but decided to settle in South Perth last year to take part in several drama productions at the Old Mill Theatre and teach young students.

The classes involve drama activities and games that aim to develop life skills like speaking clearly, expressing emotions, working collaboratively with others and appreciating characters.
