HIGH-QUALITY LIFE BY RIVER
IN a prime position with views to the Perth skyline, Swan River and backing on to McCallum Park, the Residences on McCallum Lane is a complex of 28 high-end homes designed with its occupants in mind.
Architect Chin Siew Chin of Schin Architects said the developer’s ambition was to enrich the quality of life of its residents.
To bring this vision to life, Schin Architects came up with a design that embodies both luxury and flexibility.
Thoughtful design features, such as elevating the ground floor apartments above street level, work to ensure security and privacy are maximised.
Each apartment also has

Inside, warm timbers are juxtaposed against the sleek lines of streamlined cabinetry, while ultra-chic lighting fixtures highlight the contemporary styling throughout.
Other features such as undermount sinks in the wet areas, stone benchtops and quality flooring all work together to set the homes apart.
All 25 apartments and the three penthouses, built by Pyramid Constructions, also enjoy scenic views from deep balconies, with sliding louvered screens that can be positioned to provide shade from the sun while allowing in the after- noon breeze. The complex’s lap pool takes full advantage of its location, seemingly spilling out on to the parklands all the way to the waters of the Swan River.
The landscaping includes a wide selection of native plants and trees to complement its setting.
These apartments are an entry in the Australian Institute of Architects WA Architecture Awards in the Residential Architecture (Multiple Housing) category.
Winners will be announced at the Awards Presentation Evening on July 3 at Crown Perth. For details and tickets, contact the institute on 9287 9900 or email@example.com.
