RAIN BRINGS OUT THE WORST IN SOME DRIVERS

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Street Watch -

WHY is it when the rain comes, many motorists behave like frustrated race car drivers and break the simple rules of the road? We don't have to be Captain Obvious to see the danger and risk they pose to other road users and pedestrians. Braking distance and speed always needs to be moderated when driving in the wet. We see far too many rear end collisions, cars rolled and general non-compliance when the road gets wet. Check your tyres to ensure the car is roadworthy. Winter is the perfect time to get the car fully serviced and tyres replaced if need be.
