Park plan to be unveiled
THE City of Belmont has a vision for Copley Park and is inviting community comment and input into the future of it.
It will host an open day on July 25 from 1 to 4pm to display plans. City Parks and Environment department staff will be available to answer any questions.
The Rivervale park runs from St Kilda Road to Kooyong Road, incorporating Toorak and Armadale roads.
Belmont Mayor Phil Marks said the plan shows how the landscape within the park could be upgraded to create a much more vibrant and community-orientated park on the reserve.
Once all comments have been received, the City will collate and assess them.
Budgets will be set to stage construction of the design over the next few years.
Free refreshments will be available at the open day.
If residents are unable to attend the open day, comments can be made online at connect.belmont.wa.gov.au
