Home-school­ing group puts Town on Ter­race

CHIL­DREN from a home school­ing group have cre­ated the Town of Vic­to­ria Park’s en­try into this year’s Ban­ners in the Ter­race com­pe­ti­tion.

The bud­ding artists, rang­ing in age from seven to 15, were pro­vided with sup­port from the Town through a de­sign de­vel­op­ment work­shop hosted by Dig­i­tal Hub man­ager Izzy Abuleela.

“This year’s en­try re­flects the pos­i­tive and for­ward think­ing ideas we have here in the Town,” chief ex­ec­u­tive An­thony Vuleta said.

Ban­ners in the Ter­race is held in con­junc­tion with the WA Lo­cal Gov­ern­ment Con­ven­tion dur­ing Lo­cal Gov­ern­ment Week.

The ban­ners are dis­played on the street poles lin­ing St Ge­orges and Ade­laide ter­races in Perth.
