To keep up with the excitement of the race, the City of Belmont is hosting a free family fun day on August 2 so spectators can cheer racers on while being entertained with other activities.
It will include free children’s activities and live race commentary.
Scenic helicopter rides will be available on the day so spectators can get a bird’s eye view of the race and Swan River.
City of Belmont Mayor Phil Marks encouraged residents to come along and enjoy the many activities organised by the city.
