Tech start-up group comes to town
THE maker movement is coming to Victoria Park after the council agreed to partner with enkel and the Vic Park Collective to activate an empty space at 874 Albany Highway.
enkel is a start-up co-operative made up of individuals and organisations who work together to explore new possibilities for WA in technology, digital innovation and engineering.
Town chief executive Anthony Vuleta said: “We welcome enkel to the town and I look forward to witnessing our community thrive even more through interaction with this cutting-edge group.”
enkel co-founder Adam Jorlen said he was excited about the project. “We are all about new possibilities for WA and we aim to inspire and engage local people and businesses in Vic Park to explore what’s possible for them and the community,” he said.
“We’ll do this with events, courses, workshops and conferences, which will all be listed on our website.”
