Some of the key components of the master plan include: The closure of Progress Way to improve pedestrian movement and facilitate the development of larger open spaces. The creation of an open event space in the centre of the precinct to facilitate community events. The development of a civic plaza. A new multi-functional community centre. Upgrade of existing facilities such as Belmont Oasis, the skate park and the library. Public feedback The public is invited to provide feedback on the plan at Belmont Connect http://connect.belmont. wa.gov.au/BelmontConnect. The plan will be on display at Ruth Faulkner Public Library and additional community information sessions will be held this month.
