Fam­ily vi­o­lence help

COM­MU­NITY or­gan­i­sa­tions can ap­ply for grants to help de­liver projects that re­duce vi­o­lence against women and chil­dren.

The Fed­eral Gov­ern­ment has made $4 mil­lion avail­able through the Build­ing Safe Com­mu­ni­ties for Women and their Chil­dren ini­tia­tive to fund one-off projects across Aus­tralia to ad­dress do­mes­tic vi­o­lence.

Ap­pli­ca­tions close at 2pm (AEST) on Au­gust 27. Fur­ther in­for­ma­tion is avail­able at www.dss.gov.au/grants.
