DRIVE TO ARRIVE: SAVE LIVES

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Street Watch -

WITH recent tragic events on the road, the topic of driver responsibility is again in focus. We see far too many young drivers showing off in high-performance cars trying to impress with reckless driving. Most accidents are beyond the control of passengers and, as parents, this is the biggest worry. We can only counsel youth about their responsibilities when entering cars outside the family influence. Seat belts must be worn at all times by anyone in a vehicle. Many lives are saved by those who do and lost by those who don't. Please “drive to arrive” because we cannot accept the horrific sights emergency services are confront by a near-daily basis. Senior Sergeant Ashley Goy, Officer in Charge, Kensington Police.
