THE Australian Government introduced laws as a child safety measure to regulate the placement and installation of curtain and blind cords.

Betta Curtains owner Merrill Lombard said this means that where required, cleats and cord tensioners must be installed.

“Where the installation of a cord securing device is not practical, there are an increasing number of cordless options for both curtains and blinds, including motorisation,” he said.

To help keep you and your family safe, Betta
