Investor gets a warm welcome at old school
PERTH property investor Tim Guest has gone back to his old school to donate winter uniforms to the students.
Mr Guest lives in South Perth but grew up in Gosnells and wanted to help out after hearing Gosnells Primary School students could not afford winter uniforms.
The 37-year-old has become one of the State’s leading young investors and entrepreneurs, after owning 13 properties and retiring as a multi-millionaire at just 27.
He heard about a program from volunteer charity Manna Inc, who help serve the homeless and hungry.
Mr Guest said some of the students lived in tough environments.
“They were awesome,” he said.
“I guess for them it doesn’t really seem that big of a deal; it’s just what they have to deal with every day.”
