KENSINGTON Local Policing Team officers have charged a 26year-old man in relation to a burglary in Como on August 20. About 11.30pm police were advised of an alarm activation at a golf course. Officers from the Kensington LPT and South East Metropolitan Response team attended and found a smashed window. A dog squad unit attended and police dog Atticus was deployed. Atticus picked up a scent and tracked it to a tree on the golf course. A man was found trying to hide in the tree. He was taken into custody and items stolen from the golf club were allegedly located in his possession. A 26-year-old man from Mirrabooka has been charged with one count of burglary and commit, and one count of stealing. He is due to appear in the Perth
Magistrates Court on September 18.
