KENS­ING­TON Lo­cal Polic­ing Team of­fi­cers have charged a 26year-old man in re­la­tion to a bur­glary in Como on Au­gust 20. About 11.30pm po­lice were ad­vised of an alarm ac­ti­va­tion at a golf course. Of­fi­cers from the Kens­ing­ton LPT and South East Metropoli­tan Re­sponse team at­tended and found a smashed win­dow. A dog squad unit at­tended and po­lice dog At­ti­cus was de­ployed. At­ti­cus picked up a scent and tracked it to a tree on the golf course. A man was found try­ing to hide in the tree. He was taken into cus­tody and items stolen from the golf club were al­legedly lo­cated in his pos­ses­sion. A 26-year-old man from Mirra­booka has been charged with one count of bur­glary and com­mit, and one count of steal­ing. He is due to ap­pear in the Perth

Mag­is­trates Court on Septem­ber 18.
