College wins school partnership award
BELMONT City College came away as a winner at the recent Hospitality Group Training (HGT) Annual Awards.
The school won the AMA Apprenticeship and Traineeship Services - School Partnership Award
HGT general manager Iain McDougall said the awards highlighted the importance of apprentice chefs in the workforce and applauded the efforts of employers willing to take on apprentice chefs and launch their careers.

Perth Zoo’s acting chief executive Claire Wright said they were very proud of its partners, Mustard Catering.
“Despite some stiff competition, Mustard Catering at Perth Zoo excelled in two categories, being titled both venue caterer and wedding caterer of the year,” she said.
The award showcased the Zoo’s commitment to a premium experience across all operations, she said.
