FINBAR TOWERS OVER COMPETITION

APARTMENTS EARN AWARD

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Residential -

FOR a fourth consecutive year, Finbar has been handed the gong for top high density development at the Urban Development Institute of Australia WA Awards for Excellence for its Spring View Towers apartments in The Springs precinct in Rivervale.

Completed earlier this year, the complex follows in the footsteps of Finbar’s other awardwinning developments Fairlanes, Pelago West and St Marks.

Finbar chief operating officer Ronald Chan said the company was delighted with the win.

“Finbar was the first developer to launch into The Springs and we believe that our project actually sets the benchmark for what will become a dynamic location,” he said.

“The additional resort-style amenities, including a 20m solar-heated pool, gym, games room and sauna, certainly set this development apart.

“Plus, the standard of finishes in the apartments, the linkages to the Swan River and breathtaking views also makes this a very special development, which has obviously been independently endorsed by the judges.”

Judges said Spring View Towers combined exceptional design with amazing amenities.

“The use of the two towers instead of a single block has resulted in an amenity which has given both great builtform outcomes and a grand feeling of visual space and amenity,” the judges said in their citation.

“There is a public park fronting both buildings, which allows the open space from the site to bleed into the park and integrate the development into the space.

“The incorporation of this amenity is outstanding from ground level and also from the first level, giving a palazzo effect.

“This negotiated outcome of the separation of the buildings with a shared podium rather than a block has made this an outstanding development.”

Finbar is currently working on Arbor North, its next project in The Springs precinct, which is already 72 per cent sold.

The developer also recently announced its purchase of four additional land lots comprising 3770sq m in the area, demonstrating a commitment to the precinct for the next four to five years.

“With the Perth Stadium, train station and Crown Perth renovations, this will become Perth’s next sought-after address and we are confident of the longevity of The Springs,” Mr Chan said.

Spring View Towers offers high-quality apartments with fantastic views.
