Fans meet Soc­ceroos stars

HUN­DREDS queued for a chance to meet Soc­ceroos stars at Perth Oval re­cently .

Bud­ding soc­cer play­ers had the chance to get a photo and au­to­graph from Tim Cahill, who was named Soc­ceroos cap­tain ahead of the World Cup Qual­i­fier match against Bangladesh.

The fan day gave chil­dren a chance to play on in­flat­able pitches, get a snap with the World Cup and take home a green and gold bal­loon an­i­mal be­fore meet­ing Soc­ceroos play­ers.

Jas­mine Lopes (11) said she was ex­cited to see the soc­cer stars train.

“I like the aim of the game and I like play­ing soc­cer with my friends,” she said.

Fun Air­brush Tat­too artist Lynn Jamieson said tem­po­rary tat­toos were a hit be­fore the meet-and-greet.
