Ju­dith do­ing it for her dog

AS­COT AS­COT’S Ju­dith Bull will hit the pave­ment on Oc­to­ber 2, all in the name of her pooch.

Oc­to­ber 2 is Happy Tails Day and vol­un­teers are be­ing sought to help raise money for the thou­sands of sick, in­jured and ne­glected an­i­mals RSPCA WA helps ev­ery year.

RSPCA WA chief ex­ec­u­tive David van Oo­ran said the or­gan­i­sa­tion was al­ways re­liant on mem­bers of the com­mu­nity to sup­port its life­sav­ing work.

“We’re urg­ing an­i­mal lovers to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand to sup­port us in rais­ing vi­tal funds this Happy Tails Day,” he said.

“We need to raise over 90 per cent of the fund­ing re­quired to pre­vent cru­elty to thou­sands of an­i­mals each year, so we’re urg­ing those in the com­mu­nity who care to sign up and help us raise money for an­i­mals in need.”

Com­mu­nity mem­bers are needed both in Perth’s CBD and metropoli­tan train sta­tions to col­lect do­na­tions.
