Ku­mon has birth­day fun

KU­MON in South Perth cel­e­brated twenty-three suc­cess­ful years of ser­vice to the com­mu­nity last month.

Over 10,000 stu­dents have passed through the doors of Ku­mon South Perth, with stu­dents en­gag­ing in English or maths pro­grams.

Led by proud own­ers Brad and Lina Wood­brook, the team cel­e­brated the mile­stone by com­bin­ing the fes­tiv­i­ties with Book Week and dress­ing up as fa­mous char­ac­ters.

As part of the cel­e­bra­tion, each stu­dent present was given a gift bag and some birth­day cake in hon­our of the 23rd birth­day.

Mr Wood­brook said he started Ku­mon South Perth in 1992 and the cen­tre had been im­me­di­ately pop­u­lar in the com­mu­nity for help­ing chil­dren reach their great­est po­ten­tial.

“With great sup­port from my wife Lina and our staff, we strive to of­fer the best learn­ing pro­gram for each in­di­vid­ual child,” he said.
