Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Opinion -

YOUNG Hearts, a not-for-profit organisation, has received a significant funding boost from local shipbuilder Austal.

Austal donated $100,000 to Anglicare WA’s Young Hearts program, which offers counselling to 3000 children each year who have experienced family and domestic violence.

Anglicare WA chief executive Ian Carter said the donation would allow the service to address the immediate needs of children and prevent future issues.

Austal chief executive Andrew Bellamy said they were pleased to continue supporting a vital service.
