STUDENTS at St Pius X Catholic School were proud and happy to welcome their families into their classrooms as part of a celebration for Grandparents Day.

St Pius X Catholic School Principal Daine Burnett said more than 200 people attended the school’s mass to share in the festivities as well as to enjoy the tasty treats provided at the morning tea that followed.

In fact, grandparents from all over WA travelled to the Manning school to share the special day with loved ones.

“We had family members travelling from Albany, York and Bunbury, to name a few, to share the experience with their grandchildren,” Mr Burnett said.

“The grandparents moved around the school and shared stories and work with the children.”
