Kids’ car seat advice

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Opinion -

WA parents are being encouraged to take their time before removing their child’s car seat restraints as new research by Slater and Gordon shows nearly one in four parents would leave their child strapped in longer than the legal age of seven. Motor vehicle accident lawyer Tony O’Hurley said one of the leading causes of child death and acquired disability in Australia were motor vehicle crashes. In WA about 35 children six and younger are killed or seriously injured in road crashes each year.
