Get the white look for summer
CRISP white and clashing patterns will dominate this summer.
The white-hot look is classic, fresh, versatile and chic, effortlessly suited to after-work drinks, barbecues at home or long Sunday brunches.
Ascot style guru and Shop and Style Specialist head stylist Kirsty Noakes said the look was accessible at all price points.
Even conservative dressers would shine in dazzling looks with clean white features and stand out prints.
“We are seeing luxurious daywear this Summer,” Noakes said.
Capturing looks featuring Perth designers PET, Jessica Bratich, Intimates by Monique and Jonte, coupled with shoes distributed in Perth by Galibelle, keen fashionistas won’t have to look far to look catwalk-ready.
“There are so many local emerging and established designers in Perth and it is brilliant to see it so accessible to West Australians,” Noakes said.
Noakes said WA-based fashion hub Clique Arcade, run by Ross and Storm Wynes, was a go-to place for shopping for great local designer clothing.
“It’s a hub for up-and-coming designers,” she said.
Ms Noakes said their other trends included orange palettes, summer dresses and tan accessories.
She said swimwear would be dynamic designs with navy, white and red.
But it’s the versatile culotte that is Noakes’ must have this season.
“The wide leg pant/three quarter pant is stunning; it can be dressed down or up,” she said.
“You will find it at just about any shop you go to.”
