Young stu­dents help launch team’s char­ity ride

STU­DENTS from South Perth Pri­mary School wel­comed the Tour De Cure team to the com­mu­nity for a launch cel­e­bra­tion as the cy­clists set off on their char­ity ride last month.

Tour de Cure is a char­i­ta­ble cy­cling foundation com­mit­ted to find­ing a cure for can­cer, hav­ing raised more than $19 mil­lion for re­search projects since 2007.

To en­gage stu­dents, the foundation cre­ated the Be Fit Be Healthy Be Happy pro­gram for pri­mary schools, where kids get tips on how to live healthy life­styles.
