Young students help launch team’s charity ride
STUDENTS from South Perth Primary School welcomed the Tour De Cure team to the community for a launch celebration as the cyclists set off on their charity ride last month.
Tour de Cure is a charitable cycling foundation committed to finding a cure for cancer, having raised more than $19 million for research projects since 2007.
To engage students, the foundation created the Be Fit Be Healthy Be Happy program for primary schools, where kids get tips on how to live healthy lifestyles.
The school community at South Perth primary had fun taking part in the interactive, educational program on October 14
