IT'S disturbing the amount of valuable property that is still being left in plain sight in vehicles. We are having daily thefts of iPads, laptops, phones, sunglasses and wallets. Unfortunately, so many thieves are opportunistic and need no second chance to take something when they come across it. These crimes are being committed right under our noses with some vehicles being left unattended for only a few minutes. If you continue to leave your valuables in plain sight, before you know it, you will be filing police reports to say your credit cards have been fraudulently used. WA Police are well into Operation Sweep to prevent these crimes and put a stop to opportunistic theft. We ask the public to always be aware.
