Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - Opinion -

BELMONT-based business Pindan is lending time to high school students to provide valuable work experience opportunities.

The building and construction business has teamed up with three students from Mazenod College – Matthew Earnshaw, Brenton Lucas and Mason McGrail – who were offered an opportunity to be di- rectly involved with Pindan’s business.

Pindan senior manager George Allingame said investing in the future workforce was a key priority for Pindan and the company was excited to be able to host the students.

“Both of my sons valued their work experience opportunities at the school and from chatting with the Mazenod staff, we could see how real work place experience was a valuable opportunity for these boys too,” he said.

“It was great to have them here with us and we can see bright careers ahead for each of them.”

The students conducted placements in drafting, using the same programs Pindan drafters use.
