More jewels in the crown

CROWN Perth re­ceived five pres­ti­gious awards when the best of WA’s hos­pi­tal­ity and ac­com­mo­da­tion in­dus­try gath­ered for the 2015 AHA-Aon Ho­tel and Hos­pi­tal­ity Awards for Ex­cel­lence.

More than 1000 guests at­tended the glitzy night held at Crown’s Grand Ball­room last Mon­day, where ho­tels, pubs, en­ter­tain­ment venues and more were recog­nised for their hos­pi­tal­ity ex­cel­lence.

Crown Sports Bar re­ceived the best Re­de­vel­oped Venue Award and Sport­ing En­ter­tain­ment Venue Award and The Mer­ry­well won WA’s Best Steak Sand­wich Award.

Crown Perth also re­ceived WA’s Best Con­fer­ence and Func­tions Award and Carvers Com­mis Chef Ge­off Franklin was awarded the Cook­ery Ser­vices Em­ployee Award.

Crown Perth chief op­er­at­ing of­fi­cer An­drew Hill said Crown prided it­self on an elite din­ing offering that re­in­forced the re­sort’s rep­u­ta­tion as a world-class precinct.

“Our team of chefs and wait staff take great plea­sure in ex­ceed­ing our cus­tomers’ expectations and to be recog­nised pays homage to their hard work and com­mit­ment,” he said.
