1 VIC­TO­RIA PARK ABOUT 10pm on Sun­day, Novem­ber 15, po­lice saw a grey Corolla be­ing driven er­rat­i­cally in Vic­to­ria Park. Be­fore the car could be stopped, it crashed into an­other ve­hi­cle in Ber­wick Street and five peo­ple fled. An adult male and two ju­ve­niles were caught. One ju­ve­nile was taken to PMH for med­i­cal at­ten­tion for mi­nor in­juries. The Corolla was stolen from a Vic­to­ria Park shop­ping cen­tre on Novem­ber 3 and is known to have been in­volved in a num­ber of in­ci­dents. Stolen property was found in­side the car. The driver is ex­pected to face charges in­clud­ing reck­less driv­ing, no driver’s li­cence, steal­ing of a mo­tor ve­hi­cle, fail­ing to stop and more. A 19-year-old Bassendean man and a 17-year-old St James boy were charged while a 15-year-old girl is as­sist­ing with in­quiries.

2 EAST VIC­TO­RIA PARK A WIT­NESS spot­ted two men in the back yard of a home in East Vic­to­ria Park last Wed­nes­day night. The wit­ness knew the own­ers of the house and took pho­to­graphs of the in­trud­ers as they left the property. The in­trud­ers both left with items be­long­ing to the own­ers of the house. Kens­ing­ton De­tec­tives were called to the scene and con­ducted a search be­fore find­ing one man on the street. He at­tempted to avoid of­fi­cers but was caught af­ter a short chase. The sec­ond man tried to flee on a bike but fell off and tried to run through the li­brary be­fore he was caught. It was al­leged both men, aged 24 and 18, were caught in pos­ses­sion of stolen property. Both were charged with ag­gra­vated bur­glary and steal­ing and nei- ther man was granted bail.

3 KENS­ING­TON ABOUT 2.30pm on Novem­ber 10, a black four-wheel drive with no li­cence plates was re­ported to be parked at a property un­der con­struc­tion. Kens­ing­ton De­tec­tives, Kens­ing­ton lo­cal po­lice team and the re- sponse team north at­tended the scene and found a woman putting property into the 4WD. The property had been bro­ken in to the pre­vi­ous night. The woman tried to ex­plain what she was do­ing but when po­lice re­fused to be­lieve her, she fled be­fore be­ing caught by of­fi­cers. The 38-year-old woman from Carlisle will ap­pear in Perth Mag­is­trates Court on a date to be set on charges of bur­glary and steal­ing. She was re­leased on bail with re­port­ing re­quire­ments and cur­few con­di­tions.
