Golf club fundraiser a well above par effort
FOR the 15th year, the Royal Perth Golf Club (RPGC) held a successful fundraiser, with all money donated to deserving causes in the City of South Perth.
A total of $43,000 was raised, with Edmund Rice Camps given two covered trailers and a large shed to store gear, while early parenting and childhood services provider Ngala received audiovisual equipment.
Collier Primary School received funds for an educations garden and Como Secondary School was given funds for scholarships.
Over the past 15 years, the charity has raised $1000,000 to go to non-forprofit organisations.
“The members of RPGC embrace this day and once again it has been very successful,” RPGC Charity committee chairman Wilf Sonntag said.
“We are all very proud to have helped so many people over the last 15 years.”
