Golf club fundraiser a well above par ef­fort

FOR the 15th year, the Royal Perth Golf Club (RPGC) held a suc­cess­ful fundraiser, with all money do­nated to de­serv­ing causes in the City of South Perth.

A to­tal of $43,000 was raised, with Ed­mund Rice Camps given two cov­ered trail­ers and a large shed to store gear, while early par­ent­ing and child­hood ser­vices provider Ngala re­ceived au­dio­vi­sual equip­ment.

Col­lier Pri­mary School re­ceived funds for an ed­u­ca­tions gar­den and Como Sec­ondary School was given funds for schol­ar­ships.

Over the past 15 years, the char­ity has raised $1000,000 to go to non-for­profit or­gan­i­sa­tions.

“The mem­bers of RPGC em­brace this day and once again it has been very suc­cess­ful,” RPGC Char­ity com­mit­tee chair­man Wilf Son­ntag said.

“We are all very proud to have helped so many peo­ple over the last 15 years.”
