Woman wins pendant of life
CLOVERDALE resident Maria Burgess took home an early Christmas present after winning the Circle of Life pendant in The Lion King and Linneys collaboration promotion.
Designed by Linneys’ creative director Justin Linney, the pendant was worth $10,000 and was handcrafted by founder Alan Linney.
Taking inspiration from the four elements of life, the pendant is an interpretation of hit international musical The Lion King’s song Circle of Life.
The pendant comprises titanium, representing water; diamonds, representing fire; negative space between the forms to represent air; and 18-carat WA gold to represent earth.
The Lion King is playing at Crown Theatre until February 28.
