Updated edition of skipper’s ticket book released
RIVER users wanting to get their Recreational Skipper’s Ticket (RST) will benefit from the release of a new edition of the RST Workbook with more self-test questions, diagrams and boating advice.
Department of Transport general manager of marine safety Ray Buchholz said the workbook contained up-todate information for those wanting to obtain an RST.
“It is a complete guide to obtaining the RST which is compulsory in WA for people in charge of a recreational vessel powered by an engine with more than 6hp,” Mr Buchholz said.
“Not only is the workbook an essential tool for gaining an RST, it is a good reference for the existing 214,000 RST holders in WA to refresh and update their knowledge.”
Each year the Department of Transfers distributes approximately 25,000 RST workbooks.
