HAVE you broken your New Year’s resolutions yet? Technically, I have not given up on my vow to exercise and eat healthy in 2016 because I have not even started the program. I still plan to lose weight and complete a fun run before the end of the year. I just haven’t had time to implement the necessary, fundamental procedures to ensure a suitable outcome. Sounds like procrastination, doesn’t it? I bet I was not the only person to plan a diet. Research from the Heart Foundation predicts 75 per cent of Aussies will be overweight or obese in less than 20 years. We can break that cycle. Try reducing your intake of sugar, salt and alcohol. Start your exercise program by walking the children to school or going around the block with the dog. I will update you on my progress. Please, send me some of your success stories too.
