Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - OPINION -

THE decision to introduce a two-tier system for postage will increase the use of internet and mobile phone communication.

The nearly 43 per cent increase in the fast mail service will penalise those less able to pay and those who because of age are not computer literate.

The Government is spruiking innovation. Maybe it should allow some innovation and initiative by increasing the number of concession stamps available to "My Post" cardholders from 50 to 100.

Now the available 50 stamps are used rapidly on other cards during the year. TOM DIXON, Nollamara.
