ABOUT 2am on Fri­day Jan­uary 8, po­lice of­fi­cers saw a Holden Com­modore be­ing driven er­rat­i­cally along Wright Street in Cloverdale. Po­lice lost sight of the ve­hi­cle but later found it parked in Na­nine Place in River­vale with two male oc­cu­pants. Dur­ing a search of the ve­hi­cle po­lice al­legedly found about 15g of crys­tal ma­te­rial be­lieved to be methy­lam­phetamine, and two hand guns. Fur­ther in­quiries re­sulted in a search war­rant be­ing ex­e­cuted on a premises in Ade­laide Ter­race where drug items were lo­cated and seized. Three men face charges. A 28 year-old Wan­neroo man was charged with pos­ses­sion of a pro­hib­ited drug with in­tent to sell, pos­ses­sion of a pro­hib­ited drug and drug para­pher­na­lia and breach of bail. An 18 year-old Viveash man was charged with fail­ing to stop, pos­ses­sion of a pro­hib­ited drug with in­tent to sell, pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia, ag­gra­vated pos­ses­sion of a firearm and ready ac­cess to drugs and firearm. A 26 year-old Gos­nells man was charged with pos­ses­sion of a pro­hib­ited weapon.
