Race in for Lunar celebration
ASCOT Racecourse will be be transformed into a Chinese-style marketplace for its second Lunar Raceday next month.
The colourful line-up of trackside entertainment will be in full swing with lion dancing, martial arts demonstrations, acrobatic presentations along with a traditional Chinese costume show and performance, Chinese food and market stalls, lantern displays and a special appearance by the General Consul of China.
The Lunar Raceday on February 13 is expected to draw a large crowd and the first 2000 on course will receive a fortune cookie for the chance to win prizes.
