Race in for Lu­nar cel­e­bra­tion

AS­COT Race­course will be be trans­formed into a Chi­nese-style mar­ket­place for its se­cond Lu­nar Race­day next month.

The colour­ful line-up of track­side en­ter­tain­ment will be in full swing with lion danc­ing, mar­tial arts demon­stra­tions, ac­ro­batic pre­sen­ta­tions along with a tra­di­tional Chi­nese cos­tume show and per­for­mance, Chi­nese food and mar­ket stalls, lan­tern dis­plays and a spe­cial ap­pear­ance by the Gen­eral Consul of China.

The Lu­nar Race­day on Fe­bru­ary 13 is ex­pected to draw a large crowd and the first 2000 on course will re­ceive a for­tune cookie for the chance to win prizes.
