ABOUT 8.40am on Jan­uary 2, two males en­tered a deli on Labouchere Road in Como with their faces con­cealed. They had a T-shirt or piece of cloth­ing wrapped around their heads. One male de­manded cash while point­ing a knife at an em­ployee, the other male also had a knife but stayed at the front of the store. They stole a quan­tity of cash be­fore leav­ing. Po­lice have re­leased CCTV im­ages of the men. De­tec­tives re­viewed the low qual­ity footage and de­scribed the first man to be of light com­plex­ion, about 185cm tall and thin build. He was be­lieved to be wear­ing a pink T-shirt, jeans and had a black shirt wrapped around his head. The se­cond man was de­scribed as hav­ing a light com­plex­ion, about 185cm tall and thin build. He was wear­ing a black tT-shirt with white writ­ing on the front and long brown jeans. He also had a black shirt around his head. The Re­gional In­ves­ti­ga­tion Group are ap­peal­ing for pub­lic as­sis­tance re­gard­ing the rob­bery. ON Jan­uary 19 Kens­ing­ton de­tec­tives stopped a ve­hi­cle on Can­ning High­way. A se­cond po­lice car was called af­ter in­quiries from the de­tec­tives. A search was con­ducted and drug para­pher­na­lia was found, in­clud­ing a smok­ing im­ple­ment. The driver was searched and po­lice found sev­eral small bags and about 9g of methy­lam­phetamine and a small amount of cannabis. A 29-year-old man from Fer­gu­son was ar­rested and charged with pos­ses­sion with in­tent to sell and sup­ply, pos­ses­sion of a pro­hib­ited drug and pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia. He will ap­pear in Perth Mag­is­trates Court in about three weeks.
