SALE TIMES IN­CREASE BY 10 DAYS

SALES IN the four weeks to Jan­uary 25 there were 112 lo­cal prop­erty sales across houses, units and land. This rep­re­sents a rise of 4 per cent over the pe­riod. Com­pared to the same time last year, sales have dropped by 10 per cent. In the over­all Perth mar­ket, sales are steady at 1801 for the four-week pe­riod across houses, units and land. Como tops the list for the high­est num­ber of sales at 21. Prop­er­ties avail­able for sale have de­clined by 5 per cent over the last four weeks and are 11 per cent higher than the same time last year. To­tal list­ings in the Perth Metro re­gion are down by 2 per cent over the four weeks and re­main 18 per cent above the same time last year. The av­er­age time to sell in the lo­cal area has in­creased for the three months to De­cem­ber 2015 by 10 days to 55 days from 45 days.
