SALE TIMES INCREASE BY 10 DAYS
SALES IN the four weeks to January 25 there were 112 local property sales across houses, units and land. This represents a rise of 4 per cent over the period. Compared to the same time last year, sales have dropped by 10 per cent. In the overall Perth market, sales are steady at 1801 for the four-week period across houses, units and land. Como tops the list for the highest number of sales at 21. Properties available for sale have declined by 5 per cent over the last four weeks and are 11 per cent higher than the same time last year. Total listings in the Perth Metro region are down by 2 per cent over the four weeks and remain 18 per cent above the same time last year. The average time to sell in the local area has increased for the three months to December 2015 by 10 days to 55 days from 45 days.
