More drugs at house
POLICE have searched a Belmont home for the second time in five months, again uncovering a significant amount of drugs.
Belmont Police visited the Belgravia Street residence on Tuesday where they seized two large cannabis plants, traces of methamphetamine, smoking implements, cash, an unused hydroponic set-up and mobile phones.
A 12-month investigation had led to a search of the same home last September, when a significant amount of drugs, cash and weapons were located.
Further information received from local sources and Crime Stoppers over the following months resulted in the latest search.
Police received information that the previous occupants of the Belmont house were using the current occupants of the residence to conduct illicit activity.
The four men present during the search have been charged by summons for drug related offences and will appear in court at a later date.
Information regarding illicit drug activity can be reported anonymously on 1800 333 000 or at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
