Kidz Fest a great family day out
BELMONT’S annual Kidz Fest is on this Sunday and organisers hope to replicate last year’s success when more than 5000 people descended on Faulkner Park.
The free City of Belmont event is aimed at children aged from three to 12 and has a huge range of entertainment lined up.
Special attractions will include stage performances from Betty Bubbles, Famous Sharron, Dinosaur Show, Kangaroo Creek Gang and Vince POP Magic. Children can participate in craft workshops, have their faces painted and watch live entertainment.
Meanwhile, a variety of rides will be set up throughout Faulkner Park, along with cuddly farm animals, camel rides and other furry critters.
Children are encouraged to get dressed up in their favourite costumes such as cartoon or movie characters and superheroes.
