Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - RESIDENTIAL -

IN scenic Cygnia Cove is this coastal-inspired creation that will appeal to the discerning buyer.

Owners Luke and Sarah built the four-bedroom luxury residence with Ultimate Homes and moved in on completion in March last year.

“We love that we’re in an award-winning estate in close proximity to the city and with an emphasis on environmentally sensitive design,” Luke said.

“The house is also close to nature, the Saturday morning farmers’ market and in walking distance to the river.”

With trade skills in cabinetry and horticulture, the talented duo landscaped the front and back gardens, fitted out all the robes and custom made the timber feature wall around the gas fireplace in the lounge.

“Sarah loves cooking so the wellthought-out kitchen and scullery design also really suits us, with the added bonus of being able to pick up fresh produce from the farmers’ market,” Luke said.

“We also love sitting on the balcony watching the sunset or relaxing in the freestanding bath in the upstairs ensuite after a long day at work,” Sarah said.

“The open plan living, dining, kitchen flows to the alfresco area and is ideal for entertaining.”

The residence has an easy, free-flowing layout. The main living spaces and minor bedrooms are on the ground floor, and the master suite, home office and parents’ retreat are on the first floor.

There is a long list of top inclusions, such as the limewashed American oak floors, a solar panel array, rainwater tanks, provision for greywater connections, a solar hot-water system and reticulation.
