SCHOOL IS BACK SO SLOW DOWN
SCHOOL is back, and motorists are warned to think ahead and remember to drive safely, drive slowly and beware of 40km/h school zones. Traffic will be on the increase noticeably after the holidays, and drivers should anticipate longer travel times. This is no reason to speed. Beware that young children may be going to school for the first time and they, and others who are slightly older, will be unfamiliar with crossing roads and how traffic behaves. Police will be enforcing speed limits and the road rules near schools.
